Celebrating Australia's HOLDEN Heritage
Sunday 26 November - Holden 48 - 215 (FX) 75th Birthday celebrations
Thanks to all 48 215 owners and Holden fans for making our 75th Anniversary a huge success last Sunday.
Our historic cavalcade around Trafalgar to mark this major birthday for the Holden and the re-enactment of Australian Prime Minister Ben Chifley, launching the first Holden car on November 29 1948 was a huge success.
Saddle up your iconic Australian built vehicle for this special annual milestone event... an Australia Day celebration of local automotive engineering that makes us all proud to be Aussies!
Whether you drive a Holden, Ford, BMC or Chrysler or whatever... all Australian built cars are welcome.

Our friend Fletch from Classic Restos recently visited the Museum and has put together another brilliant segment on the latest changes at THM.
Dedicated to celebrating the History of Holden, THM continues to add new exhibits and displays. In this latest show you will see our new Holden by Design exhibit, which opens this weekend (16 September 2022)
A huge thanks to Fletch, once again you make us proud!
It's back... The Museum's Route 69 Cruise is back for 2022
on Sunday 23 October 2022.
We commemorate 5 years since the demise of
Holden manufacturing in Australia.
Once again, celebrating 69 years of GMH Motor Vehicle manufacturing in Australia, we invite all Holden owners to Cruise around the beautiful roads of Gippsland and experience first hand all the new developments at the Trafalgar Holden Museum. The Museum opens from 9.30 am with the Cruise starting from 11am. All Holdens welcome.
And like all our followers - we can't wait!
Thanks to the tremendous support of enthusiasts who gathered at the Museum on Sunday 3 July to celebrate 60 years of the iconic EJ Holden.
We had dozens of EJ's, from sedans to wagons and ute's visiting on the day.
President, Neil Joiner cut the celebration cake and the weather certainly brought out the crowds. Bug thanks to the THM volunteers who coordinated the day, acted as tour guides and fired up the highly successful BBQ.
Thanks to the tremendous support of our Volunteers and due to popular demand the Museum will be open on Good Friday in 2022.
Catch all the exhibits that celebrate the History of Holden.
Open from 10am - 5pm. Normal admission prices apply.
Since it went up in the air late last year our Red VE Holden Commodore has certainly attracted some attention. Visible from Princes Highway as drivers head through Trafalgar the car is our latest way of attracting visitors to the Museum and to the region.. Check it out next time you pass!
A huge thank you to all those who came to support the Trafalgar Holden Museum's tribute to all AUSSIE BUILT cars on Australia Day!
We reckon almost 800 people visited the Museum.
Perfect weather, some incredible cars and such wonderful car enthusiasts.
To our Volunteers - thank you so much for your efforts in making it such a wonderful day. Thank you everyone - the Aussie Day spirit is still so alive!
In conjunction with WIN TV the THM is running a campaign to attract locals along to the Museum for the first time.- Check it out!
